How to choose a stainless steel pressure gauge
1. Selection of dial diameter.
If the device is large or the viewing distance is long, choose a larger dial, otherwise use a small dial surface.
2. Determination of the measurement range.
The pressure gauge generally uses 1/2~2/3 of the full scale, the limit is 3/4 of the full scale, and it is recommended to use 1/2 of the full scale for larger load shocks.
3. Determination of accuracy level.
The accuracy level of the pressure gauge is based on the requirements of the production process, economical and practical, stainless steel pressure gauge measurement method, etc. during the production process, and the accuracy level is selected according to the allowable error required for the small value of the measured pressure.
4. Determination of wetted materials.
Use ordinary pressure gauges when measuring non-corrosive media (the joints and elastic elements can be made of copper), and use stainless steel pressure gauges when measuring corrosive media (the joints and elastic elements can be 304 or 316L) ), stainless steel pressure gauges should be used in the occasions where the temperature of the measuring medium is relatively high.
5. Selection of thread interface specifications.
Under normal circumstances, it is better to use metric (national standard) thread.
