The measurable range of electromagnetic flowmeter

Electromagnetic flow meters have a large measurement range, usually ranging from 20:1 to 50:1, with a wide range of optional flow rates; The caliber range of electromagnetic flow meters is wider than other types of flow meters, ranging from a few millimeters to 3 meters; It can measure both positive and negative flow rates, as well as pulsating flow rates, as long as the pulsating frequency is much lower than the excitation frequency; The instrument output is essentially linear; Easy to choose the material variety for fluid contact parts, and can be applied to corrosive fluids and other advantages. Due to the fact that electromagnetic flow meters have a much higher chance of measuring suspended solids or dirt than other flow meters, the probability of failure caused by the inner wall adhesion layer is relatively high. If the conductivity of the attachment layer is similar to that of the liquid, the instrument can still output signals normally, but it only changes the flow area, forming an implicit fault of measurement error; If there is a high conductivity adhesion layer, the electromotive force between the electrodes will be short circuited; If it is an insulating adhesion layer, the electrode surface is insulated and the measurement circuit is disconnected. The latter two phenomena will cause the instrument to malfunction.
