Float flowmeter is a volumetric flow meter that measures the flow area between a vertical conical tube with the float rising and falling as the flow rate changes, also known as a rotor flowmeter.

When the fluid flows upward through the tube, the float moves upward, and at a certain position, the lift and gravity of the float reach equilibrium. The annular gap area is proportional to the rising height of the float, that is, a certain height of the float represents the size of the flow rate.
2. Different characteristics; Metal float flowmeter is mainly used for small diameters and low flow rates, and it does not require high requirements for straight pipes. The structure is also relatively simple, and the cost is not very high; Metal rotor flow meters can be used for flow measurement in various complex situations, and are mostly suitable for industrial measurement.
