Analysis of the reasons why the pointer does not move after pressurization

0.01y

During the inspection or use of the pressure gauge, this situation sometimes occurs. When the pressure gauge is pressurized, the standard gauge has already moved or the piping system has already had pressure, but the pointer of the working pressure gauge still does not move. , What is causing this?

     1. It is possible that the valve under the pressure gauge is not opened at all, and the indicator pointer does not move when pressurizing;

     2. The pressure guiding hole under the pressure gauge connector is blocked, and the thermal resistance will also cause the pointer to not move when pressurizing. In this case, you only need to exchange the position of the stainless steel pressure gauge with the position of the standard gauge to distinguish it. .

     3. Screw in the buffer screw or press in the buffer cap at the outlet of the pressure guide hole under some pressure gauge connectors, because the buffer hole is very small. If the hole is blocked by debris or there is no buffer hole at all, it will be pressurized. The natural pointer will not move at that time. In this case, as long as the buffer screw is unscrewed and pressurized again, it can be judged.

     4. The instrument spring tube or the solder joints have large holes obviously leaking, and the stainless steel pressure gauge will also cause the pointer to basically not move when pressurized. This situation is also very simple to judge. If the working ring is gas, the sound of air leakage can be clearly heard when pressurizing. If the working medium is liquid, it will be clearly seen from the leak point when pressurizing. Until there is liquid leaking.

     5. If the needle library of the pointer is separated from the needle piece, the needle library and the central axis of the movement are misaligned, and the fan teeth of the thermal resistance movement are entangled by the messy hairspring, it may also make the pointer not move when pressurized.
