Precautions for installation of pressure instrument
What should be paid attention to during the installation of the pressure instrument of the hydraulic system? Dalan Hydraulic tells you:
1. In general, the installation height should be equal to the sight of people, about 1.5m.
2. For high pressure instruments, the installation height shall be higher than the head of ordinary people.
3. When measuring the pressure of liquid or steam medium, the error caused by the liquid column shall be avoided. The pressure instrument shall be installed at the same level with the pressure tap, otherwise the value of the pressure instrument must be corrected.
4. At the connection of pressure instruments, appropriate materials shall be selected as sealing gaskets according to the measured pressure and the properties of measured medium to prevent leakage.
5. The thickness of the impulse pipe shall be appropriate, generally 6-10mm, and the length shall be as short as possible, otherwise it will cause measurement delay.
6. The pressure instrument shall be installed at room temperature, where the relative humidity is less than 80%, the vibration is small, the dust is little, and there is no corrosive substance.
7. Electric pressure instruments shall be protected from electromagnetic interference as far as possible.
8. When two pressure gauges are installed in parallel, the distance between instrument housings shall be 0-50mm.
9. The pressure gauge shall be installed away from the place where there is often mechanical operation (eg: manual valve handle), so as to avoid damaging the pressure gauge when operating other equipment.
10. The mechanical drilling method (electric drill or hand drill) must be adopted for drilling on the pressure pipe.
11. The hole on the air pressure pipe can be cut by gas cutting method. After cutting, the hole opening shall be smooth by round file.
12. A shut-off valve shall be installed between the pressure tap and the pressure gauge for maintenance. The shut-off valve shall be installed near the pressure tap.
13. When measuring the pressure of high pressure fluid medium, the pressure instrument case shall face the wall or the place where no one passes during installation to prevent accidents.
14. When measuring the pressure of corrosive medium, in addition to selecting the pressure instrument with anti-corrosion capability, an isolation device shall be installed to separate the measured medium from the elastic element by using the isolation liquid in the isolation tank.
15. When measuring the pressure with sharp fluctuations (such as the outlet pressure of pumps and compressors), needle valves and buffers shall be installed in front of pressure instruments, and dampers shall be installed when necessary.
16. When measuring the pressure of medium with high viscosity or easy crystallization, an isolation tank shall be installed on the pressure measuring device to fill the tank and impulse pipe with isolation liquid. If necessary, insulation measures can be taken.
17. When measuring the pressure of dusty medium, it is better to install a dust remover behind the pressure measuring device.
In a word, according to the different properties of the measured medium, corresponding measures such as heat prevention, corrosion prevention, freezing prevention, blocking prevention and dust prevention should be taken.
