The current of the pressure transmitter exceeded the range. Inspection found that there were many small raised points on the diaphragm. The measuring medium was steam. The diaphragm with low pressure was deformed inelastically by ice. The on-site level gauge has a large deviation from the central control display. This situation is probably frozen out. It is also possible that the temperature seems to be too high and the boudoir oil is heated up.
The measurement of steam generally uses condensed water as the pressure transmission medium. Therefore, steam tracing is required to prevent the condensate from freezing. In addition, attention should be paid not to let the steam directly contact the bellows for a long period of time. Drop the condensate to prevent the temperature of the unused condensate from falling, causing the water to condense and produce negative pressure suction, causing negative pressure to damage the capsule.
The diaphragm is flat on the whole, with only a dozen pinpoint-sized bumps, and it doesn’t look like a frozen one.
The following points should be paid attention to in the transmitter for measuring steam:
1. Heat tracing is required to measure steam! Especially in winter, heat preservation and heat tracing must be added.
2. For the pressure transmitter, an isolation tank (condensation tank) should be added to prevent the high temperature of the steam from affecting the bellows and silicone oil
