Readout And Pressure Conversion Of Refrigerant Pressure Gauge

Dec 15, 2021

Readout and pressure conversion of refrigerant pressure gauge

Refrigerant pressure gauge is also called refrigerant or fluorine gauge. It is used to measure the current pressure of refrigeration system. It is mainly used to measure the pressure of refrigerant in different stages of the system. At present, the precision requirement of the refrigerant pressure gauge in our country is up to 2.5 grade. Today, we will talk about how the pressure gauge is read numerically. We know that the refrigeration pressure gauge is generally divided into “High pressure gauge”and “Low pressure gauge”, that is, the maximum reading value of a low-pressure gauge is 1.8 MPA or 18 bar, as shown in the figure below, while the maximum reading value of a high-pressure gauge is 3.8 MPA or 38 bar, as shown in the figure below:

ABOVE:

the first ring is R22 refrigerant green.

Second LAP R134A refrigerant blue.

The third lap is red refrigerant R404A.

The fourth lap is R407C refrigerant green.

The fifth circle is the Red Line of the pressure value, which is in MPA units.

The sixth ring is the pressure black line, which is the pressure line in PSI. The temperature line is in degrees centigrade. The general pressure gauge can be used to measure the pressure of many kinds of refrigerant systems.

How to read the pressure value of the high and low pressure gauge:

  1. The fifth circle of the low pressure gauge is the pressure value red line, is the pressure value line in MPA units, such as the pointer to “0.2”that is the current pressure of 0.2 MPA. Let’s take a look at how the high-pressure gauge reads. The fifth ring is the Red Line of the pressure value in MPA units. If the pointer reaches “3”, the current pressure is 3 MPA.

    2. Conversion of different pressure units 1(MPA) = 145(PSI) = 10.2(KG/CM2) = 10(Bar) = 9.8(ATM). 1(PSI) = 0.006895(MPA) = 0.0703(KG/CM2) = 0.0689(Bar) = 0.068(ATM).

    1(BAR) = 0.1(MPA) = 14.503(PSI) = 1.0197(kg/cm2) = 0.987(ATM).

    1(ATM) = 0.101325(MPA) = 14.696(PSI) = 1.0333(KG/CM2) = 1.0133(Bar). MPA, PSI, KG/CM
