When the meter is running, what is the reason why the pointer rubs the dial or the glass of the watch?
When inspecting the meter or running the meter, it is sometimes found that the distance between the pointer and the dial is normal at the zero position, but when the pressure gauge rises to half of the range (or pointer
Point to the middle of the dial, the distance between the tip of the stainless steel pressure gauge and the dial tends to zero, or the distance between the tip of the pointer and the dial becomes very large. The former is called "pointer rubbing plate" and the latter is called
It is called "pointer rubbing glass". Rubbing the pointer against the plate or the glass may cause "skipping needles" failure.
There are several reasons for the rubbing of the meter pointer against the dial or the glass of the watch:
1. The ground of the connector is not level. If the front is thin, it will cause the pointer to rub against the plate; the back of the connector will cause the pointer to rub against the glass.
2. The bottom of the case of the pressure gauge sent by the restaurant is not flat, which is also one of the reasons for the pointer rubbing against the meter or glass. If the thermal resistance is low in the front and high in the back, it may cause the pointer to rub against the disc;
If the front is high and the back is low, it may cause the pointer to rub the glass.
Third, the central axis of the movement is bent, causing the pointer to be wavy when it is running, and the pressure gauge is always high and low, which is also one of the reasons that the pointer rubs against the disc or glass.
Fourth, the pointer is not straight, and the dial is not flat, which is also the cause of the pointer rubbing against the disc or glass.
