The outer shell is of an airtight structure, which can effectively protect the internal components from environmental impact and invasion of dirt. The calculation method for the lifespan of a pressure gauge is different from most products, as it is not based on a few years of lifespan. The calculation of its lifespan is related to its structure. The core component of the pressure gauge is the Bourdon tube inside the gauge. When pressure enters, the Bourdon tube deforms, driving the pointer to change and displaying the pressure reading. The lifespan of a wave tube is calculated based on its number of deformations. For example, domestic tubes are usually 5000 to 10000 times, imported tubes are usually 100000 times, and German tubes can often be used for 200000 times. When the wave tube reaches the number of uses, it will not be restored after deformation, causing the pointer to not return to zero, or the wave tube to crack, etc. At this point, the lifespan of the pressure gauge is over.
Of course, if the pressure gauge and Bourdon tube work in a high pressure range for a long time, it will also reduce its deformation frequency, but the impact is not obvious, so there is no need to worry too much.
The most common situation of pressure gauge damage is instantaneous overpressure, such as a 25Mpa pressure gauge, which often reaches over 30Mpa when the unit is started. The pressure gauge is very prone to damage, often with one or several instances of damage.
