A: EN837-1 specifies the design, materials, accuracy level, shock resistance and safety test methods of spring tube pressure gauges. It is one of the core standards for European pressure gauge manufacturing.

What is Bourdon tube pressure gauge?

A: The Bourdon tube pressure gauge is a product independently developed, certified and manufactured by WIKA in accordance with the standard EN837-1. The Bourdon tube is a radially formed elliptical cross-section tube. The C-type Bourdon tube formed to approximately 250 can be used to measure pressures up to 6MPa. For higher pressures, multiple wound bourdon tubes of the same angular diameter (coil spring type), or vortex coil bourdon tubes of the same plane (vortex tube) can be used. At the same time, oil injection can protect the instrument, extend the life of the pressure gauge, and prevent internal parts from rusting or corroding.
