Specification for Three Color Identification of Pressure Gauge
The three color identification of a pressure gauge refers to the use of red, yellow, and green colors to represent different levels of pressure status. This is an internationally recognized practice aimed at more intuitively reflecting the working status of the pressure gauge and facilitating quick judgment and handling by operators.
The meaning of the three color logo
Green: Green represents normal working condition. When the pressure gauge pointer is in the green area, it indicates that the tested system is in normal working condition.
Yellow: Yellow represents a higher working state. When the pressure gauge pointer is in the yellow area, it indicates that the tested system is in a high load working state and should be observed carefully.
Red: Red represents an abnormal safe working state. When the pressure gauge pointer enters the red area, it indicates that the tested system has been overloaded or there may be a safety hazard, which needs to be dealt with immediately.
Application scenarios of three color identification
The three color identification of pressure gauges is mainly used in various pressure control systems, such as hydraulic machinery, automotive manufacturing, power industry, petrochemical industry, etc
Labeling method for three color identification
There should be a certain margin above and below the position of the pressure gauge color code. Apply a layer of red paint, for example, if the pressure is set to 8 kilograms, a 16 kilogram pressure gauge should be used.
The upper limit of the pressure gauge should be marked in red on the scale line. The maximum range of the red line cannot exceed two-thirds of the full range. For pressure gauges already installed and used on site, if there is no manufacturer's pre drawn label on the internal dial, a red strip label should be affixed to the outer surface of the dial glass. Pointing from the upper limit scale line to the center of the circle, with a length not exceeding the radius of the dial and a width not exceeding 5mm
