Check the zero position: After installation, without pressure, observe whether the pointer is at the zero position or close to the plate stopper, otherwise it should not be used.
Special requirements for measuring steam pressure: If steam pressure needs to be measured, an annular tube should be installed at the lower end of the pressure gauge, and water should be used to transmit the steam pressure during use to prevent high-temperature steam from rushing into the spring tube, affecting the accuracy of the instrument, or inadvertently melting the solder, causing the instrument to leak, causing accidents or scalding people.
Open the valve slowly: When using, open the valve slowly so that the pressure slowly rises to the working position. If the valve is suddenly opened, if the pressure is out of control and exceeds the upper limit of measurement, the spring tube will be damaged, deformed, or the fan teeth will be dislodged, causing the instrument to lose its function.
Handling after use: After use, the pressure should be released slowly, and the pointer should not be suddenly dropped to zero, otherwise the pointer will hit the plate stop nail and bend or even break the pointer.
Regular calibration or maintenance: Instruments must be calibrated or maintained according to specified requirements.
Storage: The disassembled instrument should be stored in a dust-proof, dry, and non-corrosive environment.
