We often encounter some problems when using it, such as inaccurate temperature measurement and temperature fluctuations. Before using a pressure transmitter, it is also very difficult to choose which type of pressure transmitter to use, unless we have a good understanding of the working environment and various models of temperature transmitters.
The current of the pressure transmitter exceeds the range. Upon inspection, it was found that there are multiple protruding small points on the diaphragm. The measuring medium is steam, and the diaphragm used for low point pressure measurement has undergone inelastic deformation due to ice. The on-site liquid level gauge has a significant deviation from the central control display, which is likely due to freezing damage. It is also possible that the silicone oil appears to have overheated and swelled up.
Steam measurement usually uses condensed water as the pressure medium, so steam tracing is necessary to prevent condensation from freezing. In addition, attention should be paid to not allowing the steam to directly contact the capsule for a long time. Additionally, for transmitters that are not in use, the pressure pipe should drain the condensed water to prevent the temperature of the unused condensed water from dropping, causing negative pressure suction and damaging the capsule.
The membrane is generally flat, with only a dozen protruding points the size of a needle, and it does not look like it has been frozen out,
The transmitter for measuring steam should pay attention to the following points:
1. Measuring steam requires heat tracing! Especially in winter, it is necessary to add insulation and heat tracing.
2. For pressure transmitters, an isolation tank (condensate tank) should be added to prevent the high temperature of steam from affecting the capsule and silicone oil.
