All stainless steel Membrane Pressure Gauge

View YC pressure gauges' wide range of diaphragm pressure gauges. Diaphragm pressure gauges are often called membrane pressure gauges. These gauges can measure gauge pressure if the internal components are exposed to the atmosphere, or it can measure absolute pressure if it is vacuum sealed.

They are often used for corrosive gases, liquids, or highly viscous media. However, since the diaphragm comes into contact with the media it is important to ensure it has the proper chemical resistance. As the pressure increases, it bends the diaphragm which is connected to a series of links and gears which turn the read-out dial proportionally to the pressure.

As a rule of thumb, choose a pressure gauge in which the operating pressure is not higher than 75% of the maximum scale value, for pulsating pressures 65% applies. The pressure is usually indicated in bar or psi and there are different accuracy classes (KL) that indicate the maximum deviation. An accuracy class KL of, for example, 1.6 means a maximum deviation of 1.6% (positive or negative).
